The Oslo Hands exhibition has been a great success!

February 2008
The Hands That Shape Humanity Exhibition launched in Oslo, Norway in February.

“The arrival of such a universally appealing and inspirational program as ‘Hands’ in Oslo comes at the perfect time, as the Norwegian Royal Ministry of Culture has proclaimed 2008 to be the “Year of Cultural Diversity.” Based on the original Cape Town exhibition, the Oslo exhibit was wholly funded, curated, implemented and presented under the guidance and support of a Norwegian Government Organization named FK Norway as well as a Norwegian NGO, DSV – both entities are known in the cultural and political communities for their commitment to the development of educational and humanitarian programs for youth worldwide.

The inaugural festivities kicked off with a heart-warming introduction by the patron and visionary genius behind Hands, Desmond Tutu, amidst the backdrop of the Gallery of the City Hall – a building deeply rooted in the politics and culture of Oslo, Norway.
